Free website audit

How fast is
your website, really?

Run a real Google Lighthouse scan on your site and see what your visitors are actually waiting through — plus exactly what's slowing it down. Takes under a minute. No email required.

What the audit measures

Four scores, straight from Google. Each one is scored out of 100 — 90 and up is good, under 50 is a problem worth fixing. It is the same Lighthouse run behind Google's own PageSpeed Insights, with the results written out in place of the raw audit list.

01

Performance

How long a real visitor waits before your page is usable. The single biggest driver of people leaving before they ever see your business.

02

SEO

Whether search engines can read, understand, and index your pages properly — titles, descriptions, crawlability, mobile readiness.

03

Accessibility

Whether people using screen readers or keyboard navigation can actually use your site. Also increasingly a legal question.

04

Best practices

Security, deprecated code, console errors, and the technical hygiene that quietly decides whether a site ages well.

Why a slow site costs you

Most people will not wait. A visitor who taps your link from Google, watches a blank screen, and backs out never becomes a phone call — and you never find out they were there.

Google notices too. Page experience is part of how search results get ordered, so a slow site is fighting uphill on the exact searches you most want to win.

The frustrating part is that it's usually fixable. Oversized images, render-blocking scripts, and bloated plugins account for most of what this audit will find. Knowing which one is your problem is most of the work.

Common questions

Is this really free?
Yes. No email, no signup, no card. Type your address and you get the full report on screen. We built it because most business owners have never seen how their site actually performs.
Where do the scores come from?
Google PageSpeed Insights, which runs Lighthouse — the same engine built into Chrome and the same data Google uses when it talks about page experience. We do not invent or adjust the numbers.
What is a good score?
Google treats 90 and above as good, 50 to 89 as needing work, and under 50 as poor. Performance is the hardest to score well on. Most small business sites we test land between 30 and 60 on mobile.
Why is my mobile score so much worse than desktop?
The mobile test deliberately simulates a mid-range phone on a throttled 4G connection, because that is how most people actually visit. Desktop assumes a fast machine on a fast connection. Mobile is the number that matters for most local businesses.
Does a low score mean I need a new website?
Not always. Some sites need a handful of targeted fixes — oversized images, a bloated plugin, render-blocking scripts. Others are built on a foundation that will keep fighting you. Send us your report and we will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
Why does the scan take so long?
Because it is a real page load, not a lookup. Lighthouse opens your site on a simulated phone, waits for everything to render, and measures each stage. That takes 20 to 60 seconds depending on how heavy the page is.
